Biography

Dr Marie-Lise Schläppy (Schlaeppy)

Welcome!

Would you like to undertake a growth journey? I am here for you.

I am a passionate advocate for both the natural world and human well-being. My career has been an exciting blend of marine biology and social sciences, reflecting my deep curiosity about the interconnectedness of ecosystems and human experiences. As a principal marine ecologist, I specialise in understanding marine biodiversity and how to conserve it. My work often combines cutting-edge tools like SCUBA diving, video transects, and remotely operated vehicles to explore these fascinating underwater worlds.

Beyond marine biology, I am deeply committed to neurodiversity and personal growth. As a public speaker, I share insights on topics such as giftedness, highly sensitive individuals, and the science of happiness. My aim is to empower people by fostering understanding and acceptance of neurodiverse traits, helping individuals navigate challenges at home and in the workplace. I also draw on my background in education and life coaching to support the development people who want to become the best version of themselves.

I believe in the power of changing oneself to create meaningful societal change.
